DIY High Low dress

Hello,
So I made this really simple alteration - and the steps are - lay flat on floor, draw the desired shape you want to cut - cut - cut the lining shorter so it wouldnt show - sew both linning and upper part - wear.

This is really cheap thrifted dress, and if I will someday get bored form this asymmetric thing, then I will just cut it like short mini dress (I always do it with midi vintage dresses, because Im short and I hate how midi lenght looks on me).

Also this dress is quite large size UK18, I wish it was atleast UK10 - but I like it anyway because of this color and embroidered details.

Mmm, I guess warm spring is not yet there, atleast where I live..and this coat isnt very good for such weather, because of this deep neck line - but I loove it so much - its thrifted and I got it almost for free (as usual), it has good fabric, from 80% wool.
Today I will try to alter one vintage dress and transform it into a perfect modern dress - I hope it will turn out as I wish..:)

I really havent said Thank you, to You who follows my blog and reads it (well I dont write much, so thanks for looking at my uploaded photos :D ) - I feel really happy that some one actually are looking at this small internet spot or maybe dot. So BIG HUGE Thank YOU! :)

PLUS I think that maybe I could live without writing blog (it would be hard), but it would be soo sad to live without reading blogs, I just love to come here in Blogger and look at all newest posts.

I have thought about what I really want to do with my blog, and I think would like to give the same things what I enjoy finding on other blogs - its inspiration, and some great DIY ideas. And Im only learning how to trasnlate my ideas, my vision into my blog. Lately there really isnt many Diy projects to show you, but I have a pile of clothes that needs to be cut, dyed, sewn...so I will get into this all process next week.
I really hope that I can show you some useful DIY ideas.

Today was good day

March Elle, Asos (got it form Ebay, I always love Asos magazine, and much better its in paper than reading online)
Thrifted ballerinas -couldnt resist to buy because of this beautiful pastel blue color.

Today was soo beautiful day - I hope finally spring is here too. Plus thanks to this sunny weather I managed to take some outfit photos, finally.

This poster was in the Asos mag - its quite large, and it looks really good on my room wall.

Thrifted neckalce - not sure about thease beadings, but I like pedant, because its interesting and unique. And some defects only gives it a character. (As my favorite youtube bloggers say - maybe you know them - The Fashion Citizen)

BLUMARINE'S Hameleon

When I was watching all Blumarine collection I was bit shocket, its a bit crazy I think, crazy combinations, but I guess that was the point.

Anyhow this coat is quite interesting and different, there was too many silver color and cosmic feeling, but this coat looks very simple and casual on all this background.

So there are some photos which was taken quite time ago, about november. Now outside is the worst weather ever, all the snow is melting, cloudy and without wellies just there are impossible to navigate.

Photos were taken for ASOS Future stylist contest, and I didnt get through public entry contest - I think I just wast taking too seriously this contest rule, that you must make outfit from Asos clothing only, and I thought that threre couldnt be other brand clothes.. I think if I had chosen only one or two Asos things and other from thrift finds and other brands, then my outfit would be much better.

Anyhow the winner from public entries wasnt very original too, outfit was nice but seen many times before, sooo, I was a bit sad at first, but I knew that my outfit isnt very different, and now I know what I will do different at next years contest. If there will be one.
